Once upon a time (about 3 years ago) I was a breakbeat DJ. I played at many venues in the DC area, my favorite being Buzz. No where else could you spin in front of hundreds or sometimes even thousands of people. The parties would go until between 4 and 6am and were always a blast to perform at.
Ahhh the good ol’ days.
It was about 25 degrees today, but the sun was out and very warm inside our apartment. The cats loved taking naps while basking in the sunlight.
Kelly’s parents and her sister Ashley came by today with a bunch of toys for the kittens. We spent the evening watching science channel and preparing for the upcoming week.

I was very uninspired today, so I took some long exposure shots from the window in my office, and happened to capture this guy trying to parallel park.
Sorry for the lack of effort, hopefully tomorrow’s picture will be better.
Today was by far the busiest day I’ve had this year, I can’t wait to sleep in tomorrow.
Demon loves this toy we have that is basically some tinsel on the end of a string. I swing it in circles above my head and he jumps for it over and over and over again. Hours of entertainment.
Meet Radar (was Wonder). We adopted him and his best friend Demon (was Evan). Radar was born without eyes, but dont let that fool you, he is just as capable if not more capable than most cats I’ve met. He does bump into things from time to time, but learns his way around very quickly. He loves to be petted and plays and does all the things that regular cats do. He is an extremely loving and we hope we can give him a wonderful and comfortable life.
OMG KITTENS!!! Well, not quite kittens, more like pre-teens. So here they are, Evan and Wonder, we aren’t set on the names yet, any ideas? We had our apartment inspected tonight and then went over to their foster house to get them. Oh yeah and get this, Wonder is famous, don’t believe me? Check this out! The person that did the walk through with us told us all about it, they were amazed that we didn’t know about it.
Tomorrow night after we have our apartment inspected, we will be going to pick up our new kittens. We are both very excited and spent the entire evening cleaning up in preparation. We went to Petsmart right after Kelly picked me up at work and spent way too much money. The new kitten zone in the house is going to be like a spa for them. We even got one of the water fountain things.
With all the effort getting things ready, I totally ran out of time to set up a photo for tonight, so please excuse this mediocre shot of the new cat carrier I got tonight.
